“She revealed the essence of my soul.”
Portraiture is the ability to identify the intangible, hidden qualities that make each person unique, and the ability to bring those qualities into view. Capturing your individual essence calls for the eye of an artist, the skill of a sculptor, and the heart of a friend. When Peggy Abrams takes your portrait she provides all these rare qualities to transform your inimitable spirit into evocative images.
Whether your taste is edgy, classical, or romantic, Peggy ensures your portrait accentuates the nuances of your life with elegance and sophistication. Choose from lush natural venues to opulent locales to minimalistic settings. Whatever your preference, Peggy provides the ambience and props to create images that are poignant, powerful, and exclusive. She will shoot on location or travel to wherever you like.
Every photo session is fun, exciting, and magical—you may not even be aware there is a camera in Peggy’s hand. “I treasure that precise moment in a shoot when a woman’s beauty is realized, or the split second when a shy child emerges into a state of playfulness,” says Peggy.
“I never felt this special, had such a great time, or been more at ease in front of a camera.”
As a lifelong artist and a practicing physician for over twenty-two years, Peggy has an inherent understanding of the human form and the body’s unspoken language. Additionally, she has studied the great masters of painting, and by incorporating their rich palettes and imaginative techniques, she is able to create distinctive, emotionally expressive photographs distinguished by their depth, texture, and sensuality. To preserve your investment, Peggy prints on archival paper that rivals museum quality artwork.
“Photographic portraits are fine works of art,” says Peggy. “My passion is to capture each person’s splendor and preserve it for a lifetime.” Peggy Abrams welcomes the opportunity to showcase you or your loved ones’ splendor with a commissioned portrait. Together, you will create a masterpiece.
